-
Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it. - Hebrews 13:2

Foster kids need your hospitality, and by inviting these kids into your home, you are loving them like Jesus would.

-
No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. - 1 John 4:12
Loving one another (and loving foster kids and parents) can be an active display of God's love through and in us.

-
You have been a refuge for the poor, a refuge for the needy in their distress, a shelter from the storm and a shade from the heat. For the breath of the ruthless is like a storm driving against a wall. - Isaiah 25:4

God blesses those who blesses others, and He wants us to provide refuge to those who need it most. As foster parents, you get an opportunity to provide refuge to needy kids.

-
But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him. - Luke 10:33-34

The parable of the Good Samaritan is, at its core, a command to care for and love those who may be hard to love. The Samaritan is self-sacrificial when caring for the wounded man.
-
In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety. - Psalm 4:8

God cares for us, and in the midst of difficult parenting or a challenging foster situation He is there.
